assistant manager - garage

Overview

This job role is for an assistant manager in a busy tyre shop in Maidstone. Established for over 52 years as a family run business, busier year on year , whilst constantly improving our efficiency and customer service. We take pride in our reputation therefor we are looking for someone that shares the same passion. Experience in the garage trade is essential, either from the workshop and looking for a step up into an office role or already having done office based in a garage

Responsibilities

• Assisting the manager with day to day roles
• Greeting customers front of house
• Answering phone enquiries and ordering non stock items
• Organising the teams jobs for the day
• Checking vehicles pre workshop , tyre tread depth and overall condition
• This role has the opportunity to build up to management and also a covering role at our sister company ( Maidstone exhaust service centre )
• Work van provided within the package
• As mentioned we are a family run company and are looking for the right person to join our team who carries the same passion for customer service and dedication to their role working alongside our excellent team of fitters

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
