Assistant Manager - HR (Technical Recruitment & HR Ops)

Role Overview

We are looking for experienced HR professionals with strong exposure to Technical Recruitment and HR Operations.

We are hiring multiple professionals for this role and are open to candidates with complementary strengths across recruitment and HR operations. Candidates may have deeper expertise in either area; however, hands-on experience in IT/Technical Recruitment is essential for both positions.

The role requires someone who can independently manage recruitment requirements while also contributing to broader HR processes and employee lifecycle activities.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Recruitment

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for technical and non-technical positions, from requirement understanding and sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding.
• Source and screen candidates through Naukri, LinkedIn, referrals, internal databases and other recruitment channels.
• Work closely with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, candidate profiles and hiring priorities.
• Handle multiple open positions simultaneously and ensure timely closures.
• Conduct initial screening and evaluate candidates for technical relevance, experience, communication and overall fit.
• Coordinate interviews, feedback, offer discussions and joining formalities.
• Maintain active candidate pipelines for recurring and niche technology requirements.
• Track recruitment metrics including open positions, ageing, TAT, offer-to-joining ratio and source effectiveness.
• Support recruitment drives and high-volume hiring requirements when required.

HR Operations

• Manage and support employee onboarding, induction and documentation.
• Maintain employee records, HRMS data and personnel documentation.
• Support attendance, leave and other employee lifecycle processes.
• Coordinate probation confirmations, performance review processes and employee documentation.
• Support employee engagement and internal HR initiatives.
• Assist with HR policies, processes and statutory/compliance documentation.
• Handle employee queries and coordinate with relevant internal teams for resolution.
• Support exit formalities and employee separation processes.

Technical Hiring Exposure

Experience in recruiting for IT Infrastructure, Cloud, DevOps, Data Centre, Managed Services or Cybersecurity organizations will be an added advantage.

Candidates with exposure to hiring for some of the following skill sets will be preferred:

Candidate Profile

• 5 - 8 years of overall HR experience.
• Hands-on experience in IT/Technical Recruitment is mandatory.
• Good understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes and sourcing techniques.
• Exposure to HR Operations and employee lifecycle management.
• Ability to independently manage multiple recruitment requirements.
• Strong candidate assessment, communication and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable working with technical hiring managers and understanding niche technology requirements.
• Good working knowledge of recruitment portals, particularly Naukri and LinkedIn.
• Experience with HRMS/ATS platforms will be an advantage.
• Strong ownership, follow-up and stakeholder management skills.

Education

BE/B.Tech/BCA/MCA candidates will be preferred, particularly for their ability to understand and recruit for technical roles.

Candidates with other educational backgrounds and strong relevant experience in Technical Recruitment and HR Operations may also be considered.

Preferred Industry Background

Candidates who have worked with IT System Integrators, IT Infrastructure companies, Cloud/DevOps organizations, Managed Services providers, Cybersecurity companies or Enterprise Technology organizations will have an added advantage.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for HR professionals who are comfortable wearing multiple hats. You may be stronger in Technical Recruitment or stronger in HR Operations, but you should have sufficient hands-on recruitment experience to independently manage hiring requirements when recruitment volumes increase.
