  • Support the development of emergency response and business continuity plans
  • Provide HSE guidance and support to operational managers and supervisors on workplace safety matters

What we're looking for

  • Professional certification such as NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) or equivalent recognised HSE qualification
  • Minimum 5–7 years of HSE management experience in manufacturing or process-based environments
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian workplace safety legislation, regulations, and standards, including the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing HSE systems, policies, and procedures
  • Excellent incident investigation and root cause analysis skills
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to engage effectively at all organisational levels
  • Proficiency in HSE documentation, record-keeping, and reporting systems
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cultural change and foster a proactive safety mindset within teams
  • Competency in risk assessment methodologies and hazard identification techniques
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Malay and Chinese is advantageous
  • Ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, and respond effectively to emerging HSE issues
