Job Description Roles & responsibilities:

• Gather and analyse financial data.
• Work closely with project managers to provide timely transparency around project performance against budget
• Review, verify and process project related transactions (purchase requisitions, invoices, etc.)
• Determine standard costs and investigate variances with actual costs.
• Prepare detailed reports, both periodically and ad-hoc
• Help management make important decisions based on costs and benefits (e.g. market growth, pricing changes)
• Ensure accurate project forecasts, incorporating known risks and opportunities
• Create and manage budgets, and monitor spending.
• Conduct audits on financial processes and transactions.
• Monitor changes in processes or methods to calculate effects on overall costs.
• Track, evaluate and work to mitigate contract penalties such as performance guarantees and liquidated damages for delays
• Work to improve project execution continuously processes.

Requirements Qualifications : CA/CMA

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in cost analysis or financial analysis roles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze complex cost data.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Proven ability to work independently.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Familiarity with cost accounting principles and practices
