Assistant Manager, IT

This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Manager to perform requirements assessment, solution design, development, implementation, quality assurance and production commissioning
• Develop user requirements specification, functional design and specifications based on business requirements
• Provide technical support in collaboration with IT and Technical Services colleagues on the area related to display system
• Develop project implementation plans and work breakdown structure and manage data, reports and related information to facilitate project administration and contract compliance
• Perform project support/administration to assist in meeting agreed project objectives, service delivery standards and timelines, stakeholder expectations and user requirement
• Manage internal developers and external contractors to ensure delivery of quality solutions that effectively address the business needs and to ensure the industrial standards and best practices are implemented in the development activities, including documentation, design, programming, testing, installation and implementation
• Supervise the contractors and solution provider on performing FAT, SAT and UAT
• Ensure smooth system operations by providing instructions and expert advice to first level support staff
• Liaise with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, contractors, suppliers in relation to planning, project/program management and support functions
• Perform additional duties from time to time, as required by management
