About The Role We are seeking a proactive and technical Team Leader - IT Operations to oversee the delivery of IT system operation services across local plant facilities in alignment with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and corporate standards. This role focuses on maintaining reliable, secure, and high-performing IT and Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure while leading a support team, coordinating key stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement across IT systems, security, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Incident & Request Resolution: Ensure timely response and resolution of IT incidents and service requests in strict alignment with defined SLAs.
• Infrastructure Maintenance: Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, backup systems, and peripheral hardware.
• Network & Systems Administration: Oversee installation, configuration, network performance monitoring, and troubleshooting of network hardware and software.
• Security Monitoring & Risk Management: Monitor security alerts, logs, and systems to address risks proactively; conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans.
• Compliance & Audit Management: Ensure compliance with group IT standards, data protection regulations, and security guidelines (ISO 27001/2, NIST); collaborate with regional teams to resolve audit findings.
• Vendor & Contract Governance: Manage IT contracts and service agreements, ensuring vendor performance, SLA compliance, and coordination with finance and procurement teams for purchases.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT operations team to achieve operational targets and maintain service excellence.

Requirements

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Years of Experience: Minimum 4 to 10 years of experience in IT operations support, covering servers, networks, backup management, and OT systems.
• Infrastructure & Security Expertise: Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN, Windows/Linux OS, firewalls (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, FortiGate), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and security frameworks such as ISO 27001/2 and NIST.
• Advanced Technologies: Exposure to Operational Technology (OT), IoT, or Machine Learning (ML) systems is an added advantage.
• Core Competencies: Strong IT service management knowledge, analytical problem-solving skills, stakeholder coordination capabilities, and the ability to operate under pressure to meet operational targets.
