Assistant Manager – IT Projects

The Job:

• Lead and manage IT projects throughout the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, testing, deployment and closure, to ensure delivery within approved scope, timeline, budget and quality standards
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from users and stakeholders, and translate business needs into clear functional specifications, workflow diagrams, process documentation and system requirements
• Collaborate closely with business users, internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, vendors and technology partners to ensure effective communication and successful project delivery
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, meeting minutes, risk registers and change records
• Support project scheduling, resource planning, budget monitoring and progress tracking to ensure key milestones and deliverables are achieved
• Coordinate change management activities, including stakeholder engagement, communication planning, training arrangements and user adoption initiatives
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, deployment readiness and post-implementation support activities
• Drive continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives, including the implementation, enhancement and optimization of 4S systems and other technology platforms
• Identify project risks and issues proactively, recommend mitigation measures and escalate concerns where appropriate to ensure project success

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management or a related discipline
• Minimun 5 years of relevant experience in IT project management, business analysis, system implementation or technology project delivery
• Experience in 4S systems or other enterprise platform implementation projects is highly preferred
• Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, CBAP, or equivalent will be an advantage
• Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g. Jira, Microsoft Project) is an advantage
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
