Assistant Manager - King St

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. As the assistant manager , you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in the brick and mortar store where you will perform a number of duties while providing excellent customer service. The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in leading the daily operations of the store, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, driving sales, managing staff, and maintaining visual merchandising standards. This role plays a key part in achieving store goals and creating a positive shopping experience

Duties

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Supervise and motivate sales associates to meet sales goals and deliver excellent customer service.
• Support in training and onboarding new team members.
• Recommending product to customers
• Starting fitting rooms for customers, as well as assisting in the fitting room when needed
• Working with cash register and processing payments
• Restocking clothing, jewelry, and sunglasses throughout the day
• Be a brand ambassador that reflects the company's values
• Handle customer complaints or issues professionally, escalating to the Store Manager when needed.

Experience

• Comprehensive understanding of the store products
• 1–3 years of retail experience, with some supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Basic math skills
• The ability to use a cash register
• Strong level of professionalism at work
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills

Schedule

• 8 hour shifts
