Assistant Manager / Leasing

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Property Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a multifamily community. This role combines leasing, resident relations, and administrative responsibilities while supporting property leadership in maintaining strong occupancy and efficient operations.

What You’ll Do

• Manage prospect inquiries, conduct property tours, and follow up throughout the leasing process.
• Process applications, screenings, lease agreements, renewals, and required documentation.
• Coordinate move-ins and move-outs and work closely with maintenance regarding unit readiness.
• Assist residents with lease-related questions, requests, and concerns.
• Maintain accurate resident and leasing records in property management systems.
• Support resident retention and renewal efforts.
• Assist with outstanding balance follow-up when required.
• Support property reporting and other daily administrative and operational needs.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing requirements and established policies.
• Support property leadership in achieving occupancy and overall property performance goals.

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2 years of experience in multifamily property management, leasing, or a similar role.
• Knowledge of leasing processes and Fair Housing requirements.
• Strong customer service, sales, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with property management software is preferred.
• English and Spanish proficiency required.
