Assistant Manager, Logistic & Warehouse

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• People management skills, developing high calibre team and function to meeting company goals and objectives.
• Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services. Directing, optimizing, and coordinating full order cycle. Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers, stores.
• Responsible in managing and driving daily warehouse and distribution operations service provider is performing to their agreed standard and lead time. Ensuring on Time in Full (OTIF) is being closely monitored and provide guidance to service provide to perform
• To establish collaboration with 3PL by setting and manages 3PL KPI to achieve high standards of service levels with CAPA in place.
• Manages and drive system application, interfaces, verification, and reconciliation are on time to facilitate day to day business needs. For example, 3PL SLA and inventory accuracy to be reviewed and achieved on weekly basis.
• Familiar with logistics operations for shipments via land, sea, and air transport. Expertise in freight allocation rules and insurance liability under various trade terms: EXW, FOB, CIF, DAP, and DDP.
• Develop detailed implementation plans with clearly defined milestones, deliverables, risk assessments, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate with internal functions (Operations, IT, Finance, HR, Procurement, etc.) and external vendors to ensure the seamless setup of transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations.
• Oversee project governance, progress tracking, reporting, and timely escalation of issues to management.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement in future projects.
• Other ad-hoc responsibilities and duties that may be assigned related to warehouse/logistics operations.

Secondary Job Responsibilities:

Job Experience & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Professional certification in Project Management or Lean Six Sigma will be an advantage.
• Minimum 3 – 8 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, including at least 5 years in project implementation, transition management, or customer onboarding roles within a B2C/B2B warehouse/logistics environment.
• Handle a team of supply chain executives running daily operations through 3pl vendors, track SLA, cost and improvement projects on track to achieve company objectives.

Skills & Knowledge :

• Proven track record in managing multi cost improvement and logistics implementation projects.
• Strong understanding of transportation, warehousing, distribution, and customs processes

Behavioral Traits / Personalities:

• Hands-on experience coordinating with cross-functional teams (Operations, IT, Finance, HR, and Procurement) and external service providers.
