  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of farming systems, operational processes, and environmental and safety outcomes
  • Ensure accurate records are maintained for development and operational inputs, maintenance activities, chemical applications, fertiliser programs, irrigation, safety requirements, payroll and cost allocation timesheets

Requirements

Essential

  • Valid C Class Driver’s Licence
  • You will have extensive broadacre cropping experience. Experience with cotton and siphon and pivot irrigation is preferred
  • You will have a proven track record of operating the machinery listed and have sound mechanical knowledge
  • Experience managing teams, including employees, labour hire personnel and contractors
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel for budgeting and reporting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Current Chemical Certificate
  • You will be flexible, reliable and available to work hours which may vary to meet operational demands

Desirable

Benefits

  • Competitive salary dependent on experience and qualifications
  • A package designed to support family life, including family accommodation, a work vehicle and mobile phone
  • Farm hand employment opportunities may also be available for a partner
  • Salary continuance insurance and life insurance (subject to eligibility criteria)
  • Annual discretionary bonus (subject to eligibility criteria)
  • Access to the Employee Assistance Program
