Assistant Manager - Maintenance

Job Responsibilities

• Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to minimize equipment breakdowns and downtime.
• Monitor CMMS usage for maintenance planning, scheduling, work orders, and KPI tracking.
• Lead CAPA, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement for recurring equipment failures.
• Control maintenance costs, spare parts, contractors, repairs, and overtime expenses.
• Manage engineering projects, CAPEX activities, procurement, and asset maintenance.
• Supervise maintenance manpower, including training, performance, attendance, and workforce planning.
• Ensure boilers, autoclaves, pressure vessels, electrical systems, utilities, and facilities are safely maintained.
• Ensure compliance with DOSH, FMA, OSH, ISO, EMS, company procedures, and other statutory requirements**.**

Job Requirement

• Degree in Mechanical,Maintenance Engineering, or related field.
• Relevant experience in plant maintenance, engineering, equipment reliability, and factory operations.
• Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices.
• Experience using CMMS and managing maintenance KPIs, downtime, and work orders.
• Knowledge of boilers, autoclaves, pressure vessels, electrical systems, utilities, and industrial equipment.
• Familiarity with DOSH, FMA, OSH, ISO, EMS, and other statutory safety requirements.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, budgeting, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage maintenance teams, contractors, procurement, costs, and continuous improvement initiatives**.**
