We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Assistant Manager / Manager who can lead maintenance activities, coordinate service providers, and ensure our buildings and facilities operate at their best.

🌟 What You'll Be Responsible For

1. Building & Facilities Management

• Oversee daily building maintenance, including electrical systems, plumbing, air-conditioning, lighting, and general repairs.
• Ensure all facilities and equipment are safe, functional, and well maintained.

2. Preventive Maintenance & Improvement

• Develop and monitor preventive maintenance schedules to minimise breakdowns and unexpected repair costs.
• Identify maintenance issues and recommend practical, cost-effective solutions.

3. Contractor & Vendor Management

• Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and service providers for repairs, inspections, and maintenance works.
• Monitor work quality, timelines, and service performance.

4. Team Leadership & Operations

• Assist in supervising maintenance team, assigning tasks, and ensuring work is completed efficiently.
• Support daily facility operations and resolve maintenance issues promptly.

5. Safety, Compliance & Cost Control

• Ensure maintenance activities comply with applicable safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Monitor maintenance budgets, control expenses, and prepare maintenance reports.

6. Business Communication

• Communicate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers, contractors, and business partners to support smooth business coordination and operational activities.

🎯 What We're Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Building Maintenance, Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in building maintenance, facility management, or a similar supervisory role.
• Good knowledge of building systems, electrical installations, plumbing, and air-conditioning.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
• Able to speak Mandarin for business communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• Hands-on, responsible, organised, and proactive in handling maintenance matters.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
