Assistant Manager / Manager

We are looking for an Assistant Manager / Manager to handle sea freight pricing for export shipments. The candidate will be responsible for obtaining competitive rates from shipping lines, NVOCCs, and overseas agents, preparing quotations, and supporting the team with timely and cost-effective pricing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle sea freight pricing for FCL, LCL, and special cargo shipments.
• Obtain competitive rates from shipping lines, NVOCCs, and overseas agents.
• Prepare accurate and timely quotations for customers.
• Negotiate freight rates with carriers.
• Co-ordinate with overseas agents for export pricing.
• Maintain carrier tariffs and update rate sheets.
• Monitor market freight trends and carrier updates.
• Ensure timely response to spot enquiries.
• Co-ordinate with Operations for shipment execution.
• Build and maintain good relationships with carriers and vendors.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of FCL/LCL pricing and shipping documentation.
• Experience in dealing with shipping lines, NVOCCs, and overseas agents.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping processes.
• Good communication, negotiation, and co-ordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
