Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Event Management: Plan and execute donor events end-to-end, including conceptualisation, budgeting, procurement, speaker liaison, registration, marketing materials (EDMs/collateral), technical setups, on-site management and post-event follow-up.
  • Donor Acquisition & Stewardship: Drive donor acquisition, retention and renewals. Prepare appeal materials, process gifts and agreements, monitor fundraising campaigns, and maintain ongoing engagement to steward donor relationships.
  • Database & Administration: Maintain accurate donor records and event databases. Assist with copy-editing and dissemination of reports, conduct basic research on prospective organisations and industry topics and provide support for IPS-wide events and general administrative tasks.

Qualifications

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree, preferably in the Arts, Social Sciences, Mass Communications, Business or a related disciple.
  • Have relevant work experience in donor relations, stakeholder engagement or event management:
    • Assistant Manager: Minimum of 3 years of experience

  • Be self-motivated, collaborative, and capable of working independently under tight deadlines.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel and Access) or equivalent database tools.
