Assistant Manager / Manager, Operations Support Section (Operations Centre)

JOB SUMMARY

Support daily operations and provide counter services on Private Banking and Private Wealth Management and Corporate Banking Departments

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform non-cash financial transaction processing including remittance services
• Execute all transactions promptly, accurately and comply with the Bank policies and guidelines
• Account management including account opening, signature amendment, maintenance & account closure
• Process banking service applications
• Perform on site ID check for transactions and account opening
• Handle transactions phone confirmation and monitoring
• Ensure completeness on day end reconciliation including stock management
• Take ownership of problems & issues on daily operations and timely escalate to team leader with recommendation
• Working collaboratively with supporting units on operations aspects
• Perform administrative works and prepare reports
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor Degree or above
• Minimum 4 years of relevant banking experience in branch operations or counter services
• Sound communication skills, independent and able to work under pressure
• Good in both spoken and written English and Chinese; Fluency in Putonghua a definite advantage
• Proficient in MS office application (Word and Excel)
