Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement for the R&D Centre, including chemicals, raw materials, lab consumables, equipment and technical services.
- Identify, evaluate and develop vendors to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms and contracts with suppliers.
- Work closely with R&D, Analytical, Stores, Finance and other stakeholders to fulfil procurement requirements.
- Develop alternate vendors and ensure uninterrupted supply of critical materials.
- Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, vendor performance and procurement MIS.
- Drive cost optimization and process improvement while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Key Requirements
- Strong experience in R&D/laboratory procurement and vendor management.
- Good negotiation, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/procurement systems and MS Excel.
