Assistant Manager - Marketing

About the role

To take charge of assigned products with objectives to achieve Master Plan metrics and manage profit margin expected by the Division/Company, coordinate with product division to expand business and increase market share, identify market opportunities and address customers' needs, update and forecast product and market trends, and develop product, market and business strategy for the assigned division.

• Update, analyse and forecast product and market trends
• Develop product, market and business strategy for the assigned division
• Assist and support the sales team on Market Info/Updates and Sales Tools
• Keep division well informed on Asian market situation
• Ensure maximum support from Division to increase market share
• Survey market condition and competitor's situation
• Manage daily sales quotation and achieve Gross profit targets for the Division/Company

About you

• 5 to 6 years' of sales and/or Marketing experience in the electronic component industry with strong experience on passive electronic component
• Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration or Electronic Engineering
• IT literate and proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential to produce necessary reports and other documents using Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong technical, design-in and application knowledge in electronic market
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage and supervise subordinates from various cities/countries
• Possess strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Able to exercise good planning and judgement with analytical thinking
• Willing to travel for business purposes when required
