Assistant Manager, Mechanical Design Engineering

Location: i-TAIL Corporation PCL, Samut Sakhon

Description:

• Responsible for 2 plants, ITC-Songkla and ITC-Samutsakorn; basically, travelling is once a month or on specific assignments.
• Proficient and hands-on in mechanical drawing with AutoCAD and SolidWorks, both assembly and detail drawings. FEA is an advantage. 95% of the work will be the modification of existing equipment to improve reliability, efficiency, and process performance.
• Mechanical design experience related to resolving mechanical and process issues.
• Leads the project from the requirement to implementation with successful vertical start-up, On time-In full.
• To lead and execute the Early Equipment Management Pillar as a pillar leader in TPM.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English with the equipment suppliers overseas.
• SAP PM module is an advantage.
• OEE and losses intelligence concept is an advantage.
• Automation and PLC programming is a special consideration for mechanical engineering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering or closely related fields.
• 5–8+ years of hands-on mechanical design/project engineering experience in a manufacturing plant environment (food, FMCG, or process industry preferred).
• Willing to work on Monday- Friday and alternated Saturday from 8:00 A.M. to 6: 00 P.M.
• Willing to work on Sunday if required for equipment installation and etc.
• Willing to work based in ITC- Samutsakorn factory.
