Location: Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh

About the Role

The Assistant Manager will support the Warehouse Manager in managing the daily operations of a leading automobile parts manufacturer’s finished goods warehouse. The role will oversee warehouse activities, inventory, dispatch, manpower, and coordination with the client and Express3PL teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Support the Warehouse Manager in running daily warehouse operations.
• Plan manpower and monitor work across shifts.
• Ensure accurate stock records in WMS and SAP.
• Review stock counts, reconciliations, ageing, and inventory differences.
• Monitor tyre storage, movement, and dispatch.
• Ensure correct SKU, quantity, and product condition before dispatch.
• Coordinate with the client and Express3PL teams.
• Review daily warehouse performance, identify issues, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Ensure proper documentation and system entries for warehouse transactions.
• Monitor 5S, safety, and warehouse discipline.
• Prepare daily and monthly reports on inventory, dispatch, manpower, and operations.
• Handle operational issues in the Warehouse Manager's absence.
• Ensure client and Express3PL procedures are followed.

Requirements

• Graduate in any field. Degree/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field is preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably in a 3PL setup.
• Experience in Finished Goods and Manufacturing operations preferred.
• Working knowledge of WMS and SAP.
• Experience managing warehouse teams and shift operations.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel.
