Assistant Manager | Events Activations & Subscriptions

Objective

The role will focus on managing brand presence at book fairs, educational institutions, and public engagement platforms, while executing targeted campaigns to convert audiences / visitors into paid subscribers.

Role & responsibilities

• Looking at event / exhibition and activation opportunities to participate in.
• Plan and execute on-ground activations to promote subscriptions for the Hindu Digital
• Set up and manage subscription kiosks / stalls at book fairs and public events.
• Train and supervise promotional staff and sales promoters for subscription conversion.
• Manage logistics including stall setup, branding materials, technology support, and promotional merchandise.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage on-ground teams and vendors.
• Target-oriented with a focus on customer acquisition and conversion.
• Willingness to travel and manage weekend / event-based activations.
