Assistant Manager, Outbound Operations

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end outbound operations: picking, packing, order verification and shipment handover
• Achieve daily dispatch targets and ensure strict SLA adherence
• Track productivity, efficiency and accuracy of outbound teams
• Plan manpower, manage rosters and run shift operations
• Drive continuous improvement through 5S, Kaizen, productivity enhancement and cost optimization
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, inventory controls and safety standards
• Coordinate with Inventory/Inbound teams and transport/logistics partners
• Analyze operational MIS and prepare daily and weekly performance reports
• Handle escalations related to delayed orders, shortages and operational issues
• Train, coach and mentor team leaders and warehouse associates
• Maintain discipline, attendance and performance tracking across the team
