Context To lead, manage, and control the overall packing operations for plastic household and furniture products, ensuring product safety, packaging quality, cost efficiency, effective manpower utilization, and timely delivery for both local and export orders.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and control daily packing operations for plastic household and furniture products.
• Ensure proper packing of chairs, tables, racks, buckets, bowls, storage boxes and other plastic products.
• Ensure compliance with approved packaging specifications, buyer requirements and delivery schedules.
• Maintain smooth coordination between production, warehouse, quality assurance and dispatch teams.
• Implement export packaging standards according to buyer specifications.
• Ensure correct carton specifications, product arrangement, labeling, barcoding and packing quantities.
• Coordinate with the commercial and export teams to meet shipment deadlines.
• Prevent product damage during packing, handling, storage and transportation.
• Ensure appropriate packaging for local market products.
• Maintain product identification, labeling and packaging standards.
• Minimize packaging-related damage, customer complaints and product returns.
• Prepare daily manpower plans and allocate workers according to production and packing requirements.
• Supervise packing supervisors, line leaders and packing operators.
• Monitor worker productivity, attendance, discipline and performance.
• Train employees on packing methods, quality standards, workplace safety and productivity improvement.
• Prepare monthly packaging material requirements based on production plans.
• Monitor the consumption of cartons, polybags, tapes, labels, straps and other packaging materials.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels and minimize material wastage.
• Analyze packing costs and implement cost-reduction initiatives.
• Ensure finished products are properly packed and free from visible damage.
• Coordinate with QA/QC to resolve packaging defects and customer complaints.
• Maintain 5S, housekeeping and safety standards in the packing area.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly packing performance reports.

Requirements

• Experience: 4-8 years
• Education: bachelor of science in industrial & production engineering (ipe)
• Skills: picking and packing, packaging engineering, packing, packaging, packaging machinery, pick and pack, productionplanning, warehouse safety, packaging design, production planning
