Assistant Manager - Payroll

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end payroll activities and ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
• Prepare and maintain payroll MIS reports and other HR-related reports.
• Analyse payroll data and present MIS reports to management.
• Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations using MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ensure accuracy in payroll inputs, attendance, leave, deductions, and other payroll components..
• Maintain payroll records and ensure proper documentation.
• Identify and resolve payroll-related discrepancies.
• Work with payroll/HR software and adapt quickly to new systems.
• Support audits and provide payroll-related data whenever required.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of relevant experience in Payroll.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and HR/payroll operations.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas, data analysis, and report preparation.
• Experience in MIS reporting and presentations.
• Good knowledge of MS PowerPoint.
• Ability to work with and quickly adapt to payroll/HR software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Male candidates preferred.
• Candidates with 2+ years of relevant payroll experience.
• Strong exposure to Payroll, MIS Reporting, and Excel.
• Candidates with good presentation and analytical skills.
• Candidates who are comfortable working with software and learning new systems quickly.
