The start pay for position: $23.55/hr

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above range represents the organization's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule work of all direct support staff, assigning tasks on a daily basis; To assist in the scheduling of direct support shifts to assure appropriate coverage for the individuals
• Provide direction to direct support staff, including delegation of responsibilities, so that services are provided and documented as outlined in the individual’s plan
• Attend all scheduled training and participate in in-service sessions and other staff training sessions, implementing new procedures and employing Positive Supports and SCIP-R techniques as necessary.
• Perform responsibilities of direct support staff
• Supervise the facilitation and documentation of each individual’s services, behavior support programs and monthly summaries
• Support in the facilitation of monthly house meetings with individuals; and to assist as they communicate ideas and concerns; Work as part of the team to address ideas and concerns in a timely manner
• Responsible for the maintenance of the house, grounds and equipment; which includes\ general housekeeping
• Responsible for fire safety to include regular fire drill, testing alarms and fire extinguishers
• Assure that individuals can get to and from social events, errands and other necessary appointments using home or agency vehicle in a safe manner

Qualifications

Ideal candidates should demonstrate:

• Minimum of High School diploma or High School Equivalency; college experience preferred.
• excellent organizational and communication skills
• flexibility in scheduling
• ability to lead and motivate others
• current certifications in all regulatory trainings
