Assistant Manager-Power Plant

The Assistant Manager shall be responsible for the overall operation, maintenance, safety, statutory compliance, and performance of the WHRS Power Plant. The role shall ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Serve as the in-charge of the Operation WHRS Power Plant.
2. Ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted operation of the WHRS Power Plant.
3. Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation departments to achieve maximum plant availability and generation.
4. Monitor plant performance parameters, identify improvement opportunities, and implement measures to enhance reliability, efficiency, and operational excellence.
5. Ensure adherence to all safety standards, environmental regulations, PTW (Permit-to-Work), LOTO, and company policies.
6. Plan and oversee preventive, predictive, breakdown maintenance, annual shutdowns, and major overhauls.
7. Conduct periodic performance reviews, incident investigations, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to minimize recurring failures and operational losses.
8. Manage resource utilization, contractor performance.
9. Maintain effective coordination regarding plant performance, maintenance planning, safety matters, and operational requirements.
10. Ensure optimum inventory management of critical spares, consumables, and maintenance resources.
11. Review and approve daily, weekly, monthly, and annual operational and maintenance reports for submission to the reporting manager and management.
12. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and cost optimization.
