Assistant Manager, Procurement

• Oversees procurement - logistics activities to optimize stock and delivery schedules.
• Manage and coordinate procurement process to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of quality goods and services.
• Supervise and guide Procurement staff to ensure compliance with procurement SOP and regulatory requirements.
• Select, monitor and evaluate performance of the approved vendors / suppliers, negotiate contracts and manage vendors / suppliers' relationship.
• Provide support on purchase dealings for better inter-department communication work arrangement and material requirements.
• Resolve problems arising or complaints regarding material requirements.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management or equivalent.
• Minimum with 5 - 7 years of relevant working experience, in the field of procurement, logistics and/or supply chain.
• Computer literate with advance proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, good typing skills and accuracy at work.
• Experience in utilizing ERP system for procurement planning, order processing, data analysis and reporting.
• Good interpersonal skills, pleasant personality and able to communicate and cooperate with others.
• Good command in English, both verbal and written.
• Able to work independently, manage priorities and perform under pressure.
