Assistant Manager - Procurement

About Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Procurement to manage procurement activities, vendor relationships, packaging requirements, purchasing, and ensure timely availability of quality materials at competitive costs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage vendor sourcing, evaluation & relationships
• Handle procurement and purchasing activities
• Manage packaging material procurement & coordination
• Negotiate prices, terms & delivery schedules
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs)
• Ensure timely availability of materials and supplies
• Monitor vendor performance, quality & delivery
• Maintain procurement records and documentation
• Coordinate with Finance, Stores, Production & other departments
• Plan procurement activities based on demand, supply requirements & inventory levels

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain, Procurement, Business Administration or equivalent field
• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Procurement / Purchasing / Vendor Management
• Strong negotiation, communication & coordination skills
• Good command of MS Office / SAP
