Assistant Manager- Procurement (F&B)

1. Inventory Management:

o    Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.

o    Optimize inventory levels to balance cost-effectiveness with meeting demands, minimizing storage cost and stockouts.

2. Procurement and Vendor Management:

o    Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery.

o    Builds and maintains strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability and performance in accordance to service agreement.

o    Conduct regular cost review and supplier performance review.

o    Work cross functionally to coordinate food sampling and food tasting sessions

o    Manage PO issuance via ERP system according to company’s policy.

o    Manage and maintain master data set up in the ERP system.

3. Logistics and Distribution:

o    Manage 3rd party logistics provider’s performance to ensure accurate and

timely delivery of inventory to the stores.

o    Work closely with 3rd party logistics provider to ensure incoming shipments are managed timely.

o    Manage importation licences.

4.  Demand and Supply Planning:

o    Analyse statistical data and generating forecasting solutions based on historic data, market trends, and sales forecast obtained from cross functional stakeholders.

o    Work cross functionally, i.e. Marketing and Operations, to determine demand and therefore manage the supply replenishment.

5. Data  Analysis, Reporting & Continuous Improvement:

o    Track & analyze key supply chain KPIs, including but not limited to inventory cover, fill rate, forecast accuracy, cost of goods sold

o    Identifies and implements opportunities to improve efficiency, cost- effectiveness, and overall supply chain performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

o    Bachelor’s degree in procurement, supply chain or business

o    Min 3 to 5 years in supply chain related role, preferablyin F&B industry.

o    Proficiency in ERP systems.

o    Good written and verbal communication where good spoken and written English is an added advantage.
