Position: Assistant Manager – Production Planning

Location: SITE Area, Haroonabad, Karachi
Experience: Minimum 10 years of manufacturing experience (Tannery / Leather industry preferred)

Education: Bachelor's / Master's degree in Textile Technology, , Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Administration , Leather Technology (preferred)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead production planning at our SITE Area, Karachi facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive tannery experience and a strong command of production flow, capacity planning, and resource optimization

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production plans based on customer orders, sales forecasts, and available capacity
• Coordinate with sales, purchase, and production departments to ensure timely availability of raw materials (skins, chemicals, etc.)
• Monitor daily production progress and update management on plan vs. actual performance
• Optimize production schedules to minimize downtime, reduce wastage, and improve efficiency
• Ensure timely completion of production targets while maintaining quality standards
• Coordinate with maintenance department for preventive maintenance planning to avoid production disruptions
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to management
• Identify bottlenecks in the production process and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure effective implementation of ERP/Odoo system for production planning and tracking
• Coordinate with quality control to ensure compliance with customer specifications and audit requirements
• Train and guide junior planning staff to build a strong production planning team
• Any other task assigned by the manager

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's / Master's degree in Textile Technology, Leather Technology, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Administration from a reputable university
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in production planning within a Tannery / Leather Manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of tannery production processes (beam house, tanning, post-tanning, finishing)
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Odoo preferred) and advanced MS Excel
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
