Job Responsibilities

• Lead new production launch activities to achieve quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Manage production readiness for prototype, pilot, and mass production in machining and assembly processes.
• Improve manufacturing quality, productivity, and process efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve engineering and production-related issues to ensure stable operations.
• Manage project investment budgets and monitor equipment-related expenditures.
• Support the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes and engineering solutions.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering, to drive successful project execution.
• Support project planning, resource coordination, and progress tracking to ensure on-time project completion.
• Promote process optimization, cost reduction, and operational excellence across manufacturing operations.

Requirements

Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Production Engineering, Process Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering within a global manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, PPAP, FMEA, and automotive manufacturing standards.
• Hands-on experience with CNC Lathes, Machining Centers, and cutting tools.
• Experience in process improvement and manufacturing optimization.
• Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD, CAM, and engineering drawings.
• Good project management and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Nice to Have

• Experience leading new product introduction (NPI) or new model launches.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience managing cross-functional engineering projects in a multinational manufacturing environment.
