Assistant Manager Production Maintenance

Purpose of the role:

To ensure shift operations in the powder coating plant while maintaining defined quality parameters and compliance with ISO standards.

Responsibilities:

• To ensure shift operations are carried out in accordance with daily and weekly production plans.
• To ensure timely production entries in SAP, maintain process log sheets, submit daily operation reports, and optimize workforce utilization as per production requirements.
• To plan and schedule preventive maintenance activities in SAP and ensure timely execution of preventive maintenance jobs.
• To coordinate with the Maintenance Department to minimize equipment downtime and maintenance costs.
• To maintain machine health cards, prepare monthly breakdown reports, and conduct RCA for recurring breakdowns on a regular basis.
• To assist the Head Powder Coating Production in implementing approved Capital Expenditure projects as per schedule.
• To maintain all required ISO-related documents and records in accordance with applicable standards and company requirements.
• To troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operations.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from a reputed university.
• At least 7 to 8 years of experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Hands-on experience in industrial automation, including PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFD, instrumentation, industrial networking, and system commissioning will be an added advantage.
• Understanding of process, machineries, safety norm, planning concepts will be an added advantage.
