Assistant Manager Purchase

Merestone (Vanaalaya) Properties Private Limited is seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Manager – Purchase to manage procurement activities for construction projects.

Relevant Construction Industry Experience Only. Candidates without construction industry experience are requested not to apply.

The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of construction materials, vendor management, negotiation, and purchase processes to ensure timely procurement and cost optimization.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for construction projects.
• Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and services at competitive prices.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), and contracts.
• Coordinate with project, stores, accounts, and site teams to ensure uninterrupted material supply.
• Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases accordingly.
• Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and MIS reports.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Additional certifications in Procurement / Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.

Experience: (Only Construction Experience, Others Request to not apply)

• 8–10 years of experience in purchase and procurement within the Construction / Real Estate industry only.
• Relevant Construction Industry Experience Only. Candidates without construction industry experience are requested not to apply.
• Experience in handling procurement of cement, steel, MEP materials, finishing materials, hardware, and project-related items is preferred.

Salary:

Salary is not a constraint for the right candidate and will be based on experience, skills, and suitability for the role.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
