Assistant Manager, QESH

• To identify the improvement needs, develop and facilitate quality related trainings and/or briefings on relevant construction trades to project management team and main contractor to prevent the occurrence of potential non-conformity.
• Ensure that all activities at site are carrying out in accordance with the applicable codes and standards.
• Responsible in ensuring all documents are updated and distributed as per document control procedure.
• Assist project team in ensuring all work carried out are in accordance with project specification.
• Spearheading any continual improvement initiatives to improve product quality and project workmanship.
• Assist to liaise and coordinate with all functional heads/managers to facilitate and resolve any quality related complaints on product, process and system.
• Site Quality Assessment and reporting. To follow up status of any outstanding quality related issues.
• Manage, review and report independent audit scheduled to suppliers’ and main contractors’ product, process and system.
• Implementing and reviewing the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and spearhead organization’s ISO9001 certification exercise through annual internal quality audit scheduling and any means that operates the system.
• Ensure that corrective/ preventive actions’ requirements are fulfilled on a timely basis.
• Assist to plan, implement and review the QLASSIC program at projects.
• Assist the implementation of Quality, Environmental, Safety & Health (QESH) for all Sunsuria Properties.
• Verify construction site compliances against relevant safety and health act and guidelines.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil & Structural Engineering, Building, Property Management or related discipline with minimum 4 years of relevant working experience in property development or construction Industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (English is a must).
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Strong analytical skill and good team player.
• High standards of constructions work with successful execution experience in implementing QLASSIC etc.
• Moderate knowledge in occupational safety & health.
