Assistant Manager - Quality Control

• Assist the Quality Manager in managing day-to-day Quality Control activities.
• Supervise QC inspectors and coordinate inspection activities.
• Inspect incoming materials, in-process components and finished products.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, dimensions and tolerances.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
• Handle inspection reports, quality records and documentation.
• Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering and other departments to resolve quality issues.
• Monitor measuring instruments and ensure proper calibration.
• Support internal, customer and certification audits.
• Implement and maintain quality procedures and inspection standards.
• Train and guide QC team members on inspection methods and quality requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Quality Control / Manufacturing.
• Experience in machine shop / fabrication / heavy engineering industry preferred.
• Good knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, dimensional inspection and measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of quality documentation, NCR, CAPA and inspection reports.
• Good communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹30,000–₹50,000 per month
• PF: Provident Fund
• ESI: Employee State Insurance
• Monthly Incentive: Performance-based monthly incentive
