Duties

• Assist in managing restaurant operations, including supervising staff, overseeing food preparation, and ensuring smooth shift transitions
• Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance team performance and service standards
• Monitor inventory levels, control food costs, and implement effective food management practices
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
• Enforce food safety protocols, hygiene standards, and compliance with health regulations
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure an outstanding dining experience
• Support kitchen management by supervising food production, ensuring quality control, and maintaining cleanliness
• Conduct staff interviews, manage scheduling, and oversee shift management to optimize operational efficiency

Experience

• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and customer service
• Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience within the food industry or hospitality sector
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food safety management
• Experience in team leadership, training & development, and managing hospitality teams in casual dining or fine dining settings
• Knowledge of catering, banquet operations, bar service, or hotel experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates effectively and lead a diverse team toward shared goals
