Duties

• Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service during all shifts
• Supervise and motivate team members, providing training & development to enhance performance
• Oversee food preparation, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols
• Manage inventory control, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen and dining areas
• Support shift management by coordinating staff schedules, overseeing food production, and supervising customer service
• Conduct staff interviews, onboarding, and ongoing training to build a skilled hospitality team
• Analyze profit & loss reports to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and profitability
• Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure a positive dining experience

Requirements

• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food industry operations
• Demonstrated supervisory or assistant manager experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety management, and kitchen operations
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for cash handling and sales processing
• Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis within a restaurant environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster a collaborative atmosphere
• Excellent communication skills for managerial tasks including training, team management, and customer interactions
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced casual dining or fine dining setting
• Basic math skills for cash handling, order accuracy, and financial reporting
• Hospitality management background with experience in catering or banquet services is a plus
