Assistant Manager - Restaurant

We are looking for an Assistant Manager with a strong focus on guest experience, service, sales, and restaurant operations. This person must be highly present on the floor, lead by example, and make sure every guest receives an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional and personalized guest service.

* Supervise table service and support servers during busy periods.

* Handle guest concerns and resolve issues quickly and professionally.

* Create a memorable experience that encourages guests to return.

* Monitor service standards, food quality, timing, and presentation.

* Manage and review POS reports and daily sales performance.

* Focus on increasing the average check through effective upselling.

* Train servers on selling appetizers, cocktails, premium items, desserts, and other opportunities.

* Monitor voids, comps, discounts, and POS errors.

* Assist with inventory and cost control.

* Monitor food and beverage waste and portion control.

* Work closely with the General Manager and Chef to maintain target COGS.

* Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate daily sales and service goals.

* Train and coach team members.

* Maintain a professional, energetic, and hospitality-driven environment.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is great with people, energetic, sales-minded, organized, and comfortable working on the floor. The ideal candidate understands that their role is not only to supervise the team, but to create an exceptional guest experience while helping the restaurant increase sales and control costs.

The goal is simple: Make the guest happy while helping the restaurant make more money.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25.0 per week
