Assistant Manager - Restaurant

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to support our daily operations and ensure our high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food service industry, a passion for customer service, and a commitment to maintaining food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and staff management.

• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.

• Train and supervise team members on food preparation, service standards, and cleanliness protocols.

• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.

• Provide exceptional customer service and address any guest concerns promptly.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a food service or restaurant management role is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to stand for long periods, typically for an entire shift.

· Capability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed.

· Ability to bend, stoop, and reach to perform various tasks.

· Comfortable working in a kitchen environment, which may include exposure to heat and noise.

Pay: $18.50 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
