We are seeking a dedicated, motivated, and dependable Assistant Manager to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The Assistant Manager plays a key role in supporting the Store Manager and leading the team to ensure smooth daily operations, exceptional customer service, and consistent company standards.

The ideal candidate would be a strong leader who is comfortable taking initiative, holding the team members accountable, and leading by example daily. This position requires someone who can balance customer service, team leadership, cleanliness, food safety, and operational responsibilities while maintaining a positive and professional attitude throughout.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Store Manager with overall daily operation of the store.
• Take responsibility for the store and team in the absence of the Store Manager. Ordering trucks, taking inventory ect.
• Lead, supervise, and delegate the team members during shifts.
• Ensure employees are following company policies, procedures, and operational standards consistent across the brand.
• Lead by example and maintain a positive, respectful, and productive work environment.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and feedback to team members when needed.
• Assist with training and onboarding new employees, including customer service, food safety, cash handling, cleaning, and store procedures.
• Ensure all employees are providing friendly, welcoming, and exceptional customer service.
• Ensure sample cups are offered to every customer and encourage genuine, personal interactions with guests.
• Handle customer questions, concerns, and complaints professionally and work toward appropriate resolutions.
• Monitor cash register operations and ensure accurate cash handling and POS procedures.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the entire store.
• Ensure machines, counters, toppings areas, dining areas, bathrooms, and other guest-facing areas are properly maintained.
• Ensure food safety procedures are consistently followed, including proper temperatures, sanitation, and handling practices.
• Monitor inventory and product levels and communicate ordering needs to management.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, organizing, and rotating products and supplies.
• Help ensure the store is properly stocked and prepared for each shift.
• Manage time effectively and ensure all necessary opening, closing, cleaning, and operational tasks are completed.
• Address performance or attendance concerns with team members and communicate significant issues to the Store Manager.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing needs, call outs, ect.
• Help maintain appropriate staffing levels and ensure employees are productive throughout their shifts.
• Assist the Store Manager with achieving sales, customer service, cleanliness, and operational goals.
• Complete shift responsibilities, checklists, and required documentation accurately.
• Communicate important operational information between shifts and with management.
• Be willing to perform all team member responsibilities when needed, including serving customers, running the register, cleaning, stocking, and bussing tables.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or upper management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a quick-service restaurant, fast-food restaurant, grocery store, retail, or similar customer-service environment.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead by example and hold team members accountable.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and proper food-handling practices.
• Experience with cash registers and POS systems preferred.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to take initiative.
• Ability to work independently and make appropriate decisions when management is not immediately available.
• Comfortable providing constructive feedback and addressing employee performance when necessary.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, stock, and perform cleaning duties throughout the shift.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
