Duties

• Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including overseeing food preparation, cooking, and food presentation to ensure quality standards are met.
• Support staff training and development, including supervising team members on food handling, customer service, and POS system usage such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Supervise shift management activities, including scheduling, inventory control, and cash handling procedures to optimize profitability.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen and dining areas.
• Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, resolving guest concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming environment.
• Conduct staff interviews, participate in hiring decisions, and assist with onboarding new team members to build a strong hospitality team.
• Monitor food production processes, manage food costs, and perform profit and loss analysis to support business growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food industry operations.
• Demonstrated supervisory or assistant manager experience with team management responsibilities.
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential.
• Familiarity with food safety standards, kitchen management, and food handling procedures.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and manage managerial tasks confidently.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control, budgeting, and shift management.
• Previous experience in casual dining or fine dining environments is highly desirable; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
