Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow during all shifts
• Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and performance management
• Oversee food preparation and presentation to uphold quality standards and consistency
• Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste
• Supervise cash handling procedures and ensure accurate POS (Point of Sale) transactions using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Enforce food safety protocols and maintain compliance with health regulations
• Support shift management by coordinating staffing schedules, overseeing customer service, and resolving guest concerns promptly
• Conduct staff interviews, onboarding, and ongoing training to develop a high-performing team
• Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and revenue growth
• Collaborate with kitchen management on food production, catering events, and special service occasions such as banquets

Requirements

• SERVSAFE Food Manager Certified REQUIRED
• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food industry operations
• Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential
• Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety management
• Demonstrated skills in team management, staff training, and leadership within a hospitality environment
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations swiftly
• Excellent communication skills for managerial oversight and customer interactions
• Familiarity with inventory control practices, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis
• Experience in casual dining or fine dining settings is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
