Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service during all shifts
• Supervise and motivate staff, including training new team members and conducting ongoing staff development to uphold service excellence
• Manage food preparation processes, ensuring quality standards are met consistently across all menu items
• Oversee inventory control, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal food and beverage supplies
• Handle cash management duties, including cash handling procedures, POS system operation (Aloha POS, Micros POS), and daily reconciliation
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the restaurant
• Support shift management by coordinating scheduling, managing customer concerns promptly, and resolving operational issues efficiently

Requirements

• Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management
• Demonstrated assistant manager or supervisory experience within the food industry or hospitality sector
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills
• Experience with inventory control, food safety management, and managing food production processes
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster a positive team environment
• Excellent communication skills for managerial conversations, customer interactions, and staff training sessions
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of service
