Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and adherence to company standards.
• Supervise and motivate staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and conducting performance evaluations to promote a high-performing team.
• Manage food preparation processes, ensuring quality control, proper food handling, safety standards, and compliance with health regulations.
• Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
• Control inventory levels through accurate stock management, ordering supplies as needed to prevent shortages or excess.
• Oversee shift management by coordinating staff schedules, supervising food production, and ensuring timely service during peak hours.
• Conduct food safety audits, monitor cleanliness standards, and implement procedures to maintain a safe dining environment.
• Support management in analyzing profit and loss reports to optimize operational efficiency and profitability.
• Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Participate in staff training programs focused on culinary techniques, food safety management, hospitality best practices, and team development.

Skills

• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions and cash handling procedures.
• Demonstrated ability in inventory control, food safety management, and managing kitchen operations effectively.
• Previous supervisory or assistant manager experience within casual dining or fine dining settings.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams efficiently while fostering a positive work environment.
• Excellent communication skills for managerial tasks such as interviewing, staff training, and team leadership.
• Sound understanding of restaurant management principles including budgeting, profit analysis, shift management, and food production processes.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail under pressure.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, inventory calculations, and financial analysis related to food industry operations.
• Knowledge of catering or banquet experience is a plus; familiarity with bar service adds value to your skill set.
