Duties

• Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service flow, and cleanliness standards.
• Lead and motivate team members through effective staff training, coaching, and performance management.
• Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper food handling and safety protocols are followed.
• Oversee POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and sales processing.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
• Assist with shift management by coordinating staff schedules, managing labor costs, and optimizing workflow.
• Conduct food production oversight, including cooking, food presentation, and quality assurance to meet brand standards.
• Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings.
• Support catering events, banquets, or special functions as needed to expand service offerings.
• Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and promote a culture of food safety management across the team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with assistant manager experience preferred.
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required.
• Demonstrated supervisory skills with experience in team leadership, training & development, and interviewing candidates.
• Knowledge of inventory control, food safety standards, and hospitality management practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage staff effectively and foster teamwork.
• Basic math skills for managing budgets, analyzing profit & loss statements, and handling cash transactions.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of customer service and food quality.
