• Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and quality.
• Supervise staff performance, including training new team members and providing ongoing development opportunities.
• Manage shift schedules, coordinate staff assignments, and ensure proper coverage during busy hours.
• Support food preparation and kitchen management by monitoring food safety standards, inventory control, and food production processes.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Oversee POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Work alongside GM to communicate updates, reinforce standards, and promote teamwork.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quick service & casual restaurant environments or cafe dining settings with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety management practices.
• Familiarity with Toast POS or other POS systems
• Excellent leadership skills with experience managing hospitality teams or supervising staff in a cafe setting.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently.
• Knowledge of inventory control and food management principles.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and manage managerial responsibilities confidently.
