Job Overview

As an Assistant Manager - Restaurant, you’ll help lead daily service, support a welcoming guest experience, and keep front- and back-of-house operations running smoothly. You’ll coordinate shifts, coach team members, and contribute to food quality, safety, and business performance. Your impact: By guiding consistent service and safe food preparation, you help guests enjoy a reliable dining experience while enabling the team to work effectively.

Duties

• Supervise restaurant shifts, coordinate staffing, and support kitchen, and, must be able to serve and bartend.
• Train and develop team members; day-to-day communication.
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, serving, and food handling while following food safety practices.
• Monitor inventory, cash handling, point-of-sale (POS) transactions, and basic operational records.
• Resolve guest concerns, maintain service standards, and support efficient food production a very fast pace environment.

Skills

• Required: Restaurant, food service, or hospitality experience; supervising or shift management experience; customer service, team leadership, and clear managerial communication.
• Required: Knowledge of food safety, food handling, basic math, inventory control, and POS system Toast.
• Preferred: Assistant manager, restaurant management, food service management, food management, kitchen management, or hospitality management experience.
• Preferred: Experience with staff training, team management, training and development.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
