Assistant Manager RF Technology

1. JOB PURPOSE:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager RF Technology to support the design, deployment, testing, and optimization of RF-based smart metering solutions.

2**.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
Accountabilities KPI

• Design, evaluate, and support RF communication systems used in smart metering solutions (RF mesh, point-to-multipoint, etc.).
• Lead and contribute to RF architecture planning for smart meters, data concentrators, and head-end systems.
• Perform RF link budget analysis, coverage planning, and performance optimization in urban and rural field conditions.
• Analyse and troubleshoot RF performance issues in deployed smart metering networks.
• Work closely with meter OEMs, chipset vendors, and system integrators on RF-related topics.
• Coordinate with firmware, embedded, and backend teams to ensure seamless RF communication and system integration.
• Participate in field trials, pilots, and large-scale rollouts of RF-based smart metering networks.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Assist managers in project planning, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication.

10. SKILLS AND KNOWEDLGE:

The role requires hands-on expertise in RF communication technologies used in smart electricity meters and the ability to work cross-functionally with hardware, firmware, and field deployment teams.

1. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

BCA/MCA/B.Tech.

1. RELEVENT AND TOTAL EXPERIENCE:

5 to10 years in RF / wireless technology roles. Minimum 1 year hands-on experience in RF-based smart metering solutions.
