Assistant Manager SCM

Role & responsibilities

Assist in the procurement of Tower internals parts on time

Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials.

Support the ordering process through SAP, ensuring accurate tracking of orders and inventory.

Assist in cost optimization efforts and identify potential cost savings in the supply chain.

Manage the procurement of raw materials for wind turbine tower manufacturing, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.

Oversee the ordering process for tower fabrication and logistics, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of materials to production sites.

Work with suppliers and internal teams to manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Collaborate with logistics teams to plan transportation and manage inventory effectively.

Implement and manage SAP for order release and procurement tracking.

Report on procurement performance, delivery timelines, and vendor quality.

Coordinate with commodity lead to ensure the accuracy and completeness of Purchase Order

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to Purchase Order

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues

Develop and maintain documentation related to PO processes and procedures

Ensure adherence to the prescribed process when amending purchase orders

Resolve any issues on account of sourcing topics in SAP

Responsible for PO acknowledgement, Dispatch Instruction, material delivery on time,Invoice of components etc
