Assistant Manager - Security

This position reports to HOBU/HOD Security and will be responsible for assisting him/her in implementing, monitoring, evaluating managing security operations at regional level.Key responsibilities:

• Ensures the implementation of THE PROTOCOLS security measures and protocols set by the company and missions
• Ensures the capitalization and archiving of documents and security management tools.
• Ensures geopolitical and security monitoring based on a solid formal and informal network allowing him continuous analysis of the situation
• Supervises and coordinates security assessments and the implementation of mitigation measures according to the company protocols
• In coordination with operation teams and support departments, participates in the identification of needs for the implementation of protocols and security measures
• Regular drafting of daily reports, monthly reports and supervision of weekly reports to be shared with the management and partners
• Report incidents to higher management in accordance with company procedures and protocols
• Conduct investigations upon incidents and report, with recommendations, to higher management
• Supervise and direct security team on day to day responsibilities in accord to safety and security of staff, applicants, visitors and premises
• Actively participation in audits, internal, external and partners, in accordance to implementations of security procedures
• Assist HOBU/HOD Security in drafting mission required reports like PSA (Physical Security Assessment), ISA (Internal security audit), FRA (Fraud risk assessment) and audits.
• Participates in the crisis unit according to the crisis management protocols of the company
• Contacts the teams directly to provide them with support and advice in the event of an incident, regardless of the time or day of the week
• Proposes measures to mitigate the risks and vulnerabilities
• Plan and assist with architectural design for security enhancements - perimeter fencing, guard posts, security road blockers, Harsco wall.
• To acquire needed training and skills as and when directed including first-aid training
• Ensure the safety of staff, visitors, assets, media during placing in the premises or movement to and fro

Experience & Skills:

• Training: Minimum in the security and risk management professions for e.g. First Aid, Firefighting, crisis management
• Minimum 05-07 years of security experience
• Knowledge of standard security documents: contingency plan, risk analysis, assessments and security plans
• Highest level of honesty, commitment & eye to detail is a must
• Knowledge of Microsoft office
• Team spirit.
• Good communication skills
• Strategic vision.

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree. Master degree will be a plus
• Security certification

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs119,000.00 per month
